I have compiled this list for as I feel that the following ways to manage stress are among the most important:1.Have a garage sale! Most of us collect all manner of things over the years. The general rule is that if you have not used something in six months you don't need it. 2.Beliefs. If you have a belief system about how the universe works and you believe that this system supports you, you will find that stress is much easier to handle and you will be able to handle the pressure. 3.Keep moving. Exercise is very important when you are considering ways to manage stress. Try using the steps instead of the lift and walk when ever possible. In addition you should make time for at least 30 minutes of exercise, three times per week. 4.Watch what you eat. If your body is malnourished you will feel tired and unable to perform as required. Make sure that you eat regular nutritious meals and drink plenty of water. 5.Cut out vitamin robbers that give you an instant high followed by a low that will leave you feeling irritable and unable to cope. Too much tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolate, sugar and refined foods, will definitely affect your mood negatively. 6.Do not self-medicate with alcohol, cigarettes or drugs. Facing your stress head on instead of blaming it on other people or events, and finding drug free ways to manage stress will add years to your life. 7.Walk away from a problem. Take a break once in a while and you will find that you are more able to cope when you return to a problem. 8.Avoid toxic relationships. We all have people in our lives that drive us crazy. If you have someone that is always pressing your buttons, you need to find a way to manage the stress that this relationship is causing you. 9.Procrastination will cause incredible stress as everything will pile up until you are unable to cope. 10.Perfectionismis the other end of the scale and this can be a major source of stress.

Exploring your creative talents and releasing pent up anger or fear are important stress busters.Learn to give expression to your inner child and throw off the mask that society has made you wear. When you are young you are usually carefree and playful and don’t have to think about things like stress. As you age society expects you to act in a more sedate manner and always pretend that all is well with your world. Bust stress and make friends with your inner child by playing games, painting, dancing running and jumping or playing an instrument that you have never played before. Whatever it is, just throw off your inhibitions and enjoy yourself!
