These stress relief tips will help you in your quest to stay young and healthy. There is no doubt that the mounting pressures of everyday life can affect the way that you look and feel.

Your body can handle some stress and, in fact, a certain amount is necessary to keep you motivated. As the stress builds, however, it can stop being useful and start causing major damage to your health.

At this stage your body will start to believe that it is older than it really is and disease will start to set in.

Not many people would want to look and feel older than they really are and will try to find stress relief tips that can help them out.

Depression

Depression can be caused by many things and, if you can’t manage your stress levels and suffer with chronic depression, counselling and medication are needed.

In addition, or if you are only mildly depressed, Yoga and relaxation techniques are a great help when it comes to stress management.

I believe that depression is caused by a lack of self-love or self-esteem and, sometimes, even self-loathing! Try to focus more on your strengths instead of dwelling on your faults, and you will begin to find value in yourself.

Most Ayurvedic books say that you should get up before dawn but it seems that 6am is widely acceptable. Of course to do this you would need to be asleep by about 10pm.

Everyone needs a good support system and the worst thing you can do, if you are finding that stress management is a problem, is to become introverted and start spending too much time alone. You don’t have to have dozens of friends, if you are not that sort of person, but one or two people that you really enjoy spending your time with, will make you feel that your problems are surmountable.
