Mouth Care Is So Important For Your Overall Health But It Is A Factor That Has Been Neglected For Centuries.

The Neanderthals, were not in a position to worry about mouth care and so Neanderthal skulls show that they had a huge problem with tooth decay.

Think also of the ladies of the courts of England with their powdered hair and their fans held so discreetly in front of their mouths. Ah……. such a romantic era with their beautiful outfits and opulent balls. The truth is that their mouths were full of rotting teeth and they were trying to cover up that fact!

Well the bad news is that tooth decay is still the most prevalent disease in the world today and the reason is that most people do not focus enough on mouth care.

Adults have 32 teeth including the 4 wisdom teeth. Your teeth should last for your life time but, because of the food we eat, and sometimes because of poor hygiene, cavities and gum disease shorten their lifespan.

While most people brush their teeth at least once daily, this is not enough and (unless you are one of the lucky few who just don’t get cavities) the only way of saving your teeth is with a very strict oral care routine which should include brushing, flossing, tongue cleaning and dental check ups.

Bad breath is another huge factor that needs to be addressed, and I have all the answers to sorting out this mouth care problem. Post nasal drip, what you eat and drink, smoking and the drugs that you take all contribute to bad breath and throat and mouth diseases.
