Bad Posture Must Be Corrected

Bad posture can cause pain ranging from lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain to frequent headaches and TMJ disorder (Temporomandibular Joint and Muscle Disorders). This is a condition that can cause pain in the area of the jaw joint.

When it comes to posture most women (sorry this bit is not for the guys) covet the ballet ideal, long necks, open shoulders and straight, willowy backs, but unfortunately not all of us are shaped like ballerinas. With the proper support however we can all be a little closer to the confident statuesque shape that we desire. Bad posture can often be blamed on your feet but, especially in large breasted women, can more often than not be the fault an ill fitting bra.

Often as a result of the development of breasts, as young girls we either want to flaunt it or hide it and both can be detrimental to our spines and negatively affect our carriage and bearing, causing bad posture.

As you push your chest out, the balance of the S curve of the spine, is lost causing a lot of strain on the lower back creating lower back pain and in some cases pronouncing the curve in the lower spine even more. This top heavy stance is not incorrect but it does need the correct support to alleviate this condition known as Lordosis.

If you don’t wear the right support this upper imbalance can put your spine out of alignment creating discomfort in the long, strong muscles on either side of the spine, and bad posture. With the correct size and fit in a bra your breasts are held closer to the centre of gravity allowing you to flaunt your God given assets with confidence.

The flip side of the bad posture coin, when you round your shoulders to give the impression of a smaller bust or sometimes just to keep the top button closed, is rigidity in the upper back and strain in the neck and shoulders as the shoulders roll forward. Pulling the neck muscles and vertebrae to the fore, makes the upper curve of the spine even more distinct and this is called Kyphosis.

Again the hold of a well fitted bra is essential to bring the wayward counter weight closer to the centre of gravity, easing the tension in the upper back, allowing the shoulders more range of motion and a confidence to walk with your chin and chest held high.

Of course not all of us are the same in build and personality, which plays an important roll in how we carry ourselves, but when it comes to freedom of movement and a body with less discomfort or pain just because of your endowments there is no simpler cure than a professionally fitted, properly sized and well designed undergarment.

For years we’ve been squashed and squeezed into pretty but not in the least functional brassiers.

Now, the more among us have the opportunity to not only look stylish and feel attractive, but can cure their postural ailments. This way you can keep your assets closer to your heart, where they belong.

Once you have found out how to get the perfect fit you can go and have a look at our plus size underwear and you will have perfect breasts without undergoing plastic surgery.
